We want Heylo Studio to be a welcoming, well-cared-for space for every person who walks through our doors. By booking a session, you agree to our full Studio Rental Terms & Conditions. Here are the most important things to know before your visit.
Booking & Studio Time
Your reservation begins and ends at the exact times booked. Please do not enter the studio early, even if it appears empty. All setup, shooting, cleanup, and resetting of the space must happen within your reserved time.
Entering early or staying past your scheduled end time will result in a $40 charge per 15-minute increment.
Bookings require a 60-minute minimum and are not confirmed until payment is received.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule your booking at no charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled start time.
Cancellations made within 48 hours are nonrefundable. Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours are treated as cancellations, and a new reservation and payment will be required.
Leave It Like You Found It
Before leaving, please return all furniture, props, mirrors, backdrops, lighting, movable walls, and rented add-ons to their original locations. Remove all trash and clean up any food, drinks, spills, crumbs, debris, or other mess created during your session.
If the studio is not cleaned, reset, and ready for the next guest, a minimum $150 cleaning/reset fee may be charged. Additional cleaning, repair, or replacement costs may also apply.
Damage
Renters are responsible for damage caused during their booking to the studio, building, bathroom, furniture, props, walls, mirrors, backdrops, lighting, equipment, add-ons, or other property. Repair or replacement costs, including applicable labor, delivery, and installation, may be charged to the payment method used for the reservation.
Please do not nail, screw, tape, hang, use Command strips, or otherwise attach anything to our walls or backdrops.
Dogs, Children & Guests
Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.
Dogs are welcome and must remain supervised and under control. Dogs should remain on leash except when removing the leash is reasonably necessary for a photo or video session. Owners/handlers are responsible for immediately cleaning up after their dogs and for any additional cleaning, sanitizing, repair, or replacement costs resulting from pet accidents or damage, including urine, feces, chewing, scratching, or other damage.
Renters are responsible for the behavior of everyone—and every dog—they bring into the studio.
Studio Rules
For the safety of our guests and our space, the following are not permitted: smoking or vaping; open flames, candles, or incense; glitter, confetti, paint, or smoke bombs; firearms or weapons; illegal drugs or illegal activity; fully nude photography or videography; or explicit or sexual activity.
Music and other sound must remain at a respectful level and may not be audible outside the studio.
The studio is limited to groups of 30 people or fewer.
Natural Light
Heylo is a natural-light studio, and available light will vary based on weather, season, time of day, and sunset. Please plan your session accordingly. We cannot guarantee specific natural-light conditions during your booking.
Access & Security
Your private access code is for your booking only and should not be shared outside your group. Please do not admit anyone who is not part of your reservation.
Before leaving, make sure the studio is reset, trash is removed, shades are lowered, lights are turned off, and the studio is securely locked.
Security cameras record in the studio, common areas, and exterior areas of the property for the safety and security of the space and our guests.
Responsibility & Full Rental Agreement
The person making the reservation is responsible for their booking and for the guests, clients, models, assistants, children, and pets they bring into the studio. Renters may also be required to provide proof of general liability insurance depending on the nature, size, or activities of a booking.
